Makoiti, the world of Conduction

Conduction is a worldbuilding project that I have been slowly honing from the ground up since around early 2020. It is a fantasy-style world dominated by its unconventional rules, populated by four peoples that lie just adjacent to humanity. Its technological affordances are relatively modern, enabled not by electricity but a different physical phenomenon entirely.
The world's physical mechanics are thoroughly thought-through in order to create a convincing, immersive world with unconventional rules and unconventional magic, embracing an angle of world that I have not seen myself.
It is preceded by a world called Bricks. Since that time, the stars were invented and all of the rules of the world itself changed massively. Nothing from that time still functions, although the Gods themselves might know more.
